Mhm… did you deinstalled pdanet first? when pdanet cannot initialize the router it looks like there are some troubles with the permissions.

try this: remove pdanet! via cydia or by hand over ssh. then install it new (even try the 1.60 version on my page). also when this problem flapps…. could also be a problem on your ipod.

Kay!! I have an iPod touch and I’ve been using it 4 a few weeks to connect 2 my modem wirelessly cuz it’s 2 far to use Ethernet cables.
So it worked for a few weeks but then I got up one morning found an updated version, and after that it works for TWO MINS, THEN SAYS
PdaNet WiFi Router need to be initialized first. Please restart your iPhone.” I either have to restart my iPod or reinstall pdanet then it goes
back to working 4 two mins then says the same thing over again and it’s very frusterating.
PLZ HELP..!!!!!.. ALL HELP IS WELCOME!!!!!

Ps- i don’t like using winscp very complicAting and always hAs problems connecting

Also, filezilla works well for this. just enter sftp://{iphone ip here} | {username} | {password} | {port, leave blank} in the quickconnect bar

Worked well. Posting absolute directories might have made it more understandable though. Also, I would buy it, but it's really expensive, especially considering that there are other programs that do the same thing, and it's reliability being based on the jailbreak. When the price comes down, I'll buy. Thanks!
