Since Cydia and Hackulo.us, you can patch the MobileInstallation easily with a few fingertipps!

Premises

  • iPhone 2G/3G jailbreaked
  • Cydia

You do every modifikation of your iPhone on your own responsibility!

Click on the picture for a large view.

  1. Open Cydia and go to the source-management: Manage –> Sources IMG_0001.PNG
  2. Add a new source: Edit –> Add http://cydia.hackulo.us Add Source IMG_0002.PNG
  3. After Cydia updated the repository with the new packages, go back and look after the category Hackulo.us IMG_0005.PNG
  4. In these category, you’ll find the application miPatch Firmware 2.2.1 IMG_0006.PNG .
  5. Before you can install any IPAs from the internet or any else, you need to install any application over the official AppStore, after (!) the installed miPatch.
  6. For now, you can download and install any IPAs – and even sync it with iTunes!
  7. If you wan’t, install also Installous over Cydia, with it you’ve got acces to the whole Appulo.us.

    Yes! After you installed the MobileInstallation Patch you have to download one App from the AppStore – after that you can delete it. Don't try to install cracked Apps before – they won't be installed.

    when I download it since last night and all today it says that http://cydia.hackulos.us HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found.. What is going on everyone else can do things i've posted on TONS of sites and can't get an answer who can help me here!!!!!!!!!

    Mike, same here: I've been trying to install mipatch through Cydia and I've been getting same 404 Not Found error :-(
    I hope that someone at hackulos.us will correct this issue soon…

    thank god im not the only one =P i was worried i would have to install some more software and/or reset everything. I had it on and wiped it today and that problem arose >.<

    It looks like Hackulo.us has some troubles with their cydia repo! But there is also a way to patch the MobileInstallation by hand – and it also works! I wrote all necessary steps in this post. If you have troubles, just leave a comment in the NEW post!

    There is a possibility to do without any internet connection, I’m working on the Howto :) Sadly it’s not done with just 4-5 clicks… I’ll send you a mail, when the tut is finished!

    It's WITHOUT the 's' in hackulo! But sometimes, they have bigger problems with their servers, 'cause too many people want access the source :) So just wait for a little time, then try it again!

    Right, just download any free app – if you don't do, you won't be able to install cracked vom hackulo/installous

    i ve some probs like cydia and hackulo.So it delet the hackulo source again and use only the cydia.hackulo.us source.
    Now ists works without any problems.

    Ok I had this problem aswell. Simplest cure is to delete http://cydia.hackulo.us/ then reinstall it. Refresh cydia in the changed menu then everything should be working and awesome!

    i cannot find miPatch in cydia. it is just not there. i have cydia.hackulo.us added in sources. and it still just wont show up. will someone please help me im going crazy.

    If you have 3.0 installed you need to install AppSync and not miPatch.

    The simplest way? Update to 3.0… there is no reason for staying on 2.2.1.
    Else you can try the repo of xsellize.com…. looks like hackulo has deleted the miPatch.

    YOU GOT TO DO WHAT IS DESCRIBED AT UPPER OF THIS PAGE FROM THE AUTHOR.
    INSIDE ”CYDIA” AT ”SECTIONS” YOU GO TO ”HACKULO.US” YOU WILL FIND A PATH WITH THE NAME ”INSTALLOUS”.(THE ”mipatch” DOESNT EXIST ANY MORE).
    INSTALL IT AND THEN DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ONE FREE APP FROM THE APP STORE.
    NOW OPEN ”INSTALLOUS” AND AT PREFERENCES PUSH THE BUTTON ”DIRTY”.
    NOW DOWNLOAD (FROM INSTALLOUS) ONE APP FROM APPULOUS AND SIMPLE INSTALL IT (AGAIN FROM INSTALLOUS).
    RESET YOUR IPHONE (IF IT DOESNT WORK THE BROKEN APP).
    OPEN THE BROKEN UP AND …ENJOY!
    ITS REALLY SIMPLE!

    i have 2 ipod touch’s, both on 2.2.1, upgrading is not an option. one of them has mipatch the other can’t find it. is there away i can get the one with it to give it to the other one?

    cydia destroyed mipatch now..
    you can only get apps from downloading them from installous, or just upgrade ipod to 3.0 to jailbreak it that way

    Can't add http://cydia.hackulo.us source to Cydia? Hereby the solution for iphone 3Gs firmware 3.1.2:
    1. Jailbreak the 3gs with blackra1n
    2. Install cyndia (when you installed Rock instead of Cyndia, search a install for Cyndia in Rock)
    3. Click in Cyndia on Manage Sources and add this source: http://fishbone.ge
    4. Download Installd 3.0 (3.1 didn't work for me)
    5. Reset and enjoy installing everything you want on your iphone

    Works fine!!
